“when studying plants, nature must be the teacher itself” -Botanical Art from the Golden Age of Scientific Discovery
Founder Carrie Crumbley spent the first five months of 2018 developing her interpretation of botanical inspired fragrances. What she came up with is a collection of three candles that are clean and earthy, with just a hint of floral. Here is what she has to say about this project…
“The botanical illustrations on the candles are inspired by nineteenth and twentieth century wall charts, these charts transformed the way individuals viewed the natural world. My goal within this project is to, once again, transform the way we think about the environment by mending the disconnected relationship between the “consumer” (I really dislike this word), the product, and our environment. Purchasing quality goods for your home doesn’t have to feel wasteful. You’re choosing thoughtfully when you choose Resoycled.”
Truly minimal goods necessitate environmentally conscious choices. This design philosophy goes into each handcrafted candle. Poured with the environment in mind, 15% of each sale will go towards the Sierra Club Foundation. Find out more about the work they’re doing here. Now on to the details…

To get the most out of your candle allow the wax to melt to the edges of the jar, this will prevent build up and tunneling. Be sure to trim the wick to 1/4" each time before re-lighting. We recommend that you do not burn for more than 3 hours at a time and that you discontinue use when 1/2" of wax remains in the bottom. Continue the recycling process by reusing the vessel or contact us and we will refill it for 30% off the original retail price.
